One of the top activities one indulges in while traveling is shopping. Shopping is one of the top things to do for many especially for women and hence many a trips are planned around shopping or many a times a day or two are reserved for shopping. Different places provide different options in shopping like Tokyo for electronics, Persia for carpets and more. Also different people have different perspectives on shopping, some people shop there heart out because the rates of the said products are cheaper than that in there native countries and they realize that they are getting a good deal. Other people shop irrespective of rates and are focused more on names, brands and destinations like shopping in Monaco or Paris for fashion brand, not necessarily the cheapest. Things that one buys during a trip can remind one of the vacations on a daily basis.

 

 

People also tend to have different choices when it comes to shopping some like shopping in flea markets and some tend to shop in big air-conditioned malls. Downtown Copenhagen is undoubtedly the world’s top shopping destination. Not much well known but Copenhagen has a great variety to offer both the serious and casual shoppers. It has got the world’s longest pedestrian mall, offering shoppers everything from Gucci to H&M. The place is also known for its vintage fashions, edgy boutiques and Scandinavian home décor. Another venue is Copenhagen’s downtown is a must-see shopping district. The small narrow streets and adjoining alleyways are home to a variety of men’s and women’s shops where one can find everything from handmade boutique stuff to high-end fashion attires.

Palermo Viejo, Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is known for its own unique styled trendy streets of Palermo Viejo. Chatuchak Market, Bangkok

The Chatuchak Weekend Market is nick-named as the “Thai Experience,” The place is considered as the best place to hang out and do some shopping in Bangkok. The large market takes up more than 35 acres, has 15,000 vendor stalls and sees more than 200,000 visitors every weekend, which makes it one of the biggest and most famous markets in the world providing a wide choice starting from vintage Levi hipsters to pythons to vinyl records.

Shibuya District, Tokyo

The Shibuya District is Tokyo is a place with bright lights and street fashion. It’s like Times Square on steroids. The colorful, flashy, busy shopping area crowded with as many as 2 million people at a time on any given day loaded with 2-story television screens which bombard visitors with advertisements, color, noise and people. This is undoubtedly one of the liveliest and busiest shopping places on the planet.
