Windsor Castle: This castle was established by King William to protect the attack against London. Although UK has many great castles and it take weeks to visit them all but this one is special and probably one of the most popular castles in the world. This castle has been used as the residence of royal family for almost 900 years. It is located in between lush green garden beside river Thames.
Forbidden City: This Castles is located in Beijing, china. It has four big towers at corners and it contains a whole city in it. It was used from 14th century till early 20th century. Its walls are around one meter thick and provide great protection. This castle contains the great heritage of Chinese old dynasties including Qing and Ming dynasty. It has beautiful gardens, great buildings, palaces and the rooms are furnished with rich Chinese furniture and items.
Bam-e-Citadel: This is a ancient castle with a beautiful structure located in Iran. The whole building is in the form of a castle and it is World heritage site. In 2003 an earth quake has destroyed it many parts but it was later repaired with the help of various countries under the flag of UN and still its worth visiting.
Chaputepec Castle: The Chaputepec Castle is located in Mexico and is a National Museum nowadays. It has been used as a palace, observatory and Military Academy. It has been used by influential people of different regions and contains their heritage too.
Castle of Good Hope: The Castle of Good Hope is located in Cape Town, South Africa. The castle was built in the 17th century and today it is a well preserved item of golden era of the land. It is presently being used by South African army as their HQ. A museum and historical artwork can be enjoyed in the castle.
